I didn't feel his comment was disrespectul to her. I guess that's one way or reading it, but I also feel it is respectul being considered with others while we don't know their circumstances. Of course, I don't know yours either, so I'm just saying. Another way of reading that could have been he had been wanting to explore his sexuality with another man for years. But maybe cultural preassure got a good amount of yeras from him before he could finally allow himself to just go for what he wanted. To me it could be much more disrespectful to keep up the "married straight life" and just cheating on her with other men. Which is the option that some guys go for as they can't find a way to do things differently. Anyways, life is hard and it is what it is...
