Aside from "Misty Beethoven" and "Barbara Broadcast," "Roommates" ranks with me as one of the best Capital-M "Movies of the Golden Age of Porn" I have ever seen. Thanks! for the upload; it was a great trip down memory lane to see it again this evening. "Roommates" is quite the drama; unlike many adult films, it's well written so that a whole variety of emotions besides the usual Lust are addressed from comedy to the very real fear that sets in as the Kelly Nichols character's recklessness takes her to a very dark place: one of Jamie Gillis' best performances ever as, shall we say, a very disturbed individual. The whole cast is game, for that matter, with Samantha Fox a standout. Remarkable character development for any adult film. Cinematography had flair to spare. I could go on... Would love to this in HD sometime; I hope it's out there somewhere. Cheers!
